👋 Hi, I'm Yi Han! I'm a Senior Product Designer who loves turning messy, complex problems into experiences that actually make sense for the people using them.

My background is a bit of a mix. I studied Environmental Science and Industrial Design before earning my MA in UX/UI from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I learned to think in systems before I ever started designing them. That combination gave me a particular way of working: equal parts creative curiosity and practical rigor. I'm just as comfortable building a design system from scratch as I am digging into the "why" behind a business requirement.

Most of my work has lived in the complex product space — multi-step workflows, data-heavy interfaces, tools where getting the details wrong has real consequences. I've built design systems, streamlined operations that touch multiple user types, and lately I've been exploring how AI can make the design process itself faster and smarter.

What I keep coming back to is the same challenge: how do you make something powerful also feel simple? That's the problem I like best.
